The famous AS-VAL, is the assault rifle variant of the VSS Vintorez, featuring much of the same design with the exception of a steel stock and polymer pistol grip, as compared to the Vintorez's wooden counterpart.
Firing the same subsonic 9x39mm cartridge, the AS-VAL was used alongside the Vintorez in clandestine operations by both Soviet and Russian forces.
The LCT recreation of the AS-VAL, the LGM-VAL, is an ultra-realistic and faithful build to its real life counterpart.
